- SoundScape Mode – Tempur-Pedic calls the new SoundScape Mode, “the ultimate calming experience”. Using a BlueTooth connection to your smartphone or TV, this immersive technology allows you to hear (and feel) sound through your mattress. Use it in conjunction with music or white noise to fall asleep, or use it to get the most out of your next movie night! Exclusive to the TEMPUR-Ergo ProSmart.
- Wave Form Massage – Unlike past TEMPUR-Ergo massage functions, the new Wave Form Massage uniquely uses pulsing sound waves to transmit vibrations through the mattress to promote relaxation and ease tension. With 2 pre-programmed frequencies on the remote and 3 more on the Sleeptracker AI App, these functions may help sleepers with a range of health and sleep issues including insomnia, anxiety, circulation, migraines and headaches, menstrual cramping, muscle tension and recovery. - Wind Down Program – The first of its kind, the Wind Down Program is a preset program that cycles through various base positions and massage functions to help you destress after a long day or prepare your mind and body for a great night’s rest. Exclusive to the TEMPUR-Ergo ProSmart.
Tempur-Pedic Ergo Base vs Ergo Smart Base vs Ergo ProSmart Base Comparison
To the naked eye, these three Tempur-Pedic adjustable bases appear to be exactly the same. But don’t be fooled! First, we’ll cover all of their shared features, and then we’ll highlight the key differences between the Ergo Base, Ergo Smart Base, and Ergo ProSmart Base.

Consisting of both hardware and software, Sleeptracker AI includes an on-board sensor made to track nearly everything about your sleep and your sleep environment. The cloud-based companion program has apps for both Android and Apple devices, Wi-Fi connectivity, and is compatible with smart home units like Google Home & Amazon Alexa. Sleeptracker AI is constantly learning, which is how it is able to give you insights and recommendations specifically tailored to you and your sleeping habits.
Thanks to Sleeptracker AI, the TEMPUR-Ergo Smart Base and TEMPUR-Ergo ProSmart Base are also equipped with Automatic Snore Response. If Sleeptracker AI detects snoring during the night, Tempur-Pedic’s Quietmode will activate, providing anti-snoring relief.
