One of the most frequent questions furniture shoppers ask us is “Can you deliver this to me?”. We get this question a lot — especially online, on social media, and in our web chat. Seems like a simple enough question, right? After all, you do have to get your furniture or mattress home somehow.
But sometimes, there’s a catch. Not everyone who asks us this question lives within our standard delivery area.
Does this sound like you? Have you found the perfect mattress, sofa, or bedroom suite on our website just to find out that we’re a couple states away? If so, no need to fret yet. Keep reading to see if our long-distance delivery or shipping options are right for you!
What Is Our Standard Delivery Area?
For those of you who found us online or are unfamiliar with Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet, we are located in North Georgia. We deliver the vast majority of our furniture and mattresses from our Distribution Center in Acworth, located just off I-75 about 30 miles north of Atlanta.
As a result, our standard delivery routes include metro Atlanta and much of the state of Georgia. Since we’re just off a major interstate, we even make occasional scheduled deliveries to limited parts of Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and the Carolinas. Deliveries to these areas are typically eligible for both our Premium Delivery Service and our Curbside Delivery.
We consider any delivery or shipment outside of these areas long-distance or off-route. Instead of our standard pickup and delivery, purchases going outside these areas are covered by our Nationwide Delivery option.
Looks Like I’m Outside Your Standard Delivery Area. Can Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet Deliver To Me Anyway?
Here’s the good news. Even if you are outside our standard delivery routes, the answer is yes, we can still deliver or ship your purchase! However, there are a couple exceptions to note.
First, in order to be eligible for our Nationwide Delivery, your delivery address must be located in the lower 48 contiguous, or continental, United States. At this time, we are not able to do international shipments, or shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or other U.S. Territories. Additionally, we are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes, so an actual street address is required.
Lastly, while we are able to deliver furniture for orders that meet the above criteria, it is important to note that we are not able to make any sort of guarantees regarding shipping/delivery cost. This is because we customize long-distance deliveries for each customer. As a result, the cost can vary greatly depending on the distance and size/quantity of pieces purchased. This is why we have multiple long-distance delivery options to consider.
What Are My Long-Distance Delivery/Shipping Options?
So you’re in the continental United States, but not along our standard delivery routes. What’s next? What are your options?
We are committed to working out custom delivery solutions for each and every long-distance customer. We also want to get you your furniture or mattress in the most reliable, fastest, and safest method possible.
There are some instances where it may make sense for us to deliver your furniture ourselves. Over the years, we have delivered furniture as far as Hilton Head Island, Houston, Miami, and Louisville. However, this is not always cost-efficient for us or price-efficient for you.
That’s why we also offer delivery through our national network of 3rd party freight carrier partners. For smaller items, we are able to ship nationwide via small parcel shipment through UPS and FedEx.
