Unlike some other furniture and mattress brands under our roof, Skechers isn’t a brand name that we likely need to introduce to you. In fact, chances are good that some of you are wearing a pair of Skechers sneakers, boots or slip-ons right now! Skechers™ PostureFit™ | Meet the Mattresses
Before we dive into the specific Skechers mattresses that we’ve got in our showrooms for our official mattress launch, let’s talk about the features that all of these mattresses share. All of our Skechers mattress models below – the Skechers PostureFit 200, Skechers PostureFit 300 and Skechers PostureFit 400 – include the following features:
1) Each of the Skechers mattresses below are designed to provide sleepers with a number of benefits typically associated with both traditional innerspring and foam mattress types. All 4 models below include the Skechers PostureFit system of individually-wrapped spring coils with zoned lumbar support and foam encasement for superior support, postural alignment, and responsiveness.
2) By design, the Skechers Mattresses below are built to be fully compatible with adjustable bases and/or adjustable beds.
3) Each Skechers mattress also includes a unique blend of gel foam and support foam quilted into the mattress, called the Max Cushioning® System. Inspired from Skechers footwear, this system provides plush yet supportive cushioning for immediate comfort the moment you lie down.
4) The Skechers mattresses below are also equipped with Skechers Cool Skech-Knit® Fabric Technology. This cool-to-the-touch fabric cover helps sleepers maintain a comfortable temperature all night long.
5) Every Skechers PostureFit Mattress is proudly designed and constructed in America.
6) Every Skechers PostureFit Mattress includes a competitive 10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
Now that we’ve covered these foundational features, let’s discuss the design elements that set each of the below mattress models apart.
Skechers PostureFit 200 Mattress
The Skechers PostureFit 200 mattress is the most accessible, most affordable mattress in the new Skechers lineup. But that doesn’t mean it’s not loaded with tons of features. This mattress is anything but basic.
It includes everything we discussed above – Skechers’ PostureFit system of individually-wrapped innerspring coils, the additional lumbar support and foam encasement, and the plush yet supportive Max Cushioning System, all wrapped in a Cool Skech-Knit Fabric cover. Additionally, it includes several inches of SuperSoft foam, and a layer of Skechers’ Air-Cooled Memory Foam®. The end result is a Plush feeling Euro top mattress that is cushioning, contouring, supportive, and helps regulate sleepers’ temperatures to deliver a truly restful sleep experience.
Skechers PostureFit 300 Mattress
Next up is the Skechers PostureFit 300, available in your choice of two different comfort levels – Plush and Cushion Firm. But what added features does the Skechers PostureFit 300 mattress have that aren’t present in the Skechers PostureFit 200?
There are three major upgraded features. First, depending on whether you select the Skechers PostureFit Plush or Skechers PostureFit Cushion Firm model, you can expect a thicker layer of SuperSoft foam, or an extra layer of Support Foam, respectively. Second, regardless of which comfort level you choose, Skechers has added a 1” layer of their specialized Luxe Foam. This proprietary foam has a similar feel to latex, meaning you can expect a more buoyant, responsive feel, better relief from pressure points, and less motion transfer when moving in bed.
Lastly, the standard Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam layer from the Skechers PostureFit 200 has been upgraded to a top layer of Copper Memory Foam. The infusion of copper into this gel memory foam layer helps transfer excess heat away from the body, allowing you to sleep even cooler throughout the night. As an added bonus, copper has antimicrobial properties, so this naturally neutralizes icky bacteria that can cause odors over time.
Skechers PostureFit 400 Mattress
For the most advanced and luxurious sleep experience in the Skechers PostureFit mattress line, you’ll want to try the Skechers PostureFit 400 mattress. Where the Skechers PostureFit 200 offers sleepers a Plush feel, and the Skechers PostureFit 300 offers either a choice between Plush or Cushion Firm, the Skechers PostureFit 400 is a true Medium feel mattress, versatile enough for all sorts of sleepers.
For starters, the Skechers PostureFit 400 includes all the best features found in the Skechers PostureFit 200 and 300 – everything from the the Skechers Cool Skech-Knit Fabric cover, to the individually-wrapped Skechers PostureFit coils, to the Max Cushioning layer, to the buoyant latex-like Luxe Foam and temperature-regulating Copper Memory Foam. It even features the extra layer of Support Foam present in the Skechers PostureFit 300’s Cushion Firm model. The most significant improvement is the addition of Skechers® Hyper Pillars™, a thick layer of individually-wrapped micro-coils nestled just beneath the Copper Memory Foam layer. This addition makes the Skechers PostureFit 400 mattress easily the most supportive and most responsive Skechers mattress in our showroom.
