You’ve browsed online, window shopped, priced things out, and now you’ve finally figured out exactly what you want. But now you’re asking yourself, “How do I get my furniture or mattress home?”
When you are furniture or mattress shopping, it’s easy to forget that your new sectional, dining set, or king size mattress won’t just appear in your home after you make the purchase. You have to get it home somehow.
So what are your options?
Our goal with this article is to walk you through our 4 primary pickup and delivery processes. In order to offer you the best experience possible, it's important that you know exactly what to expect when you buy from Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet.
Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet's Pickup & Delivery Options
Although there are extra services and special options available, there are 4 primary ways to get your purchases home:
Premium Delivery Service
Let’s start with your top-end service option. With Premium Delivery Service, we’ll take care of everything from transport, to assembly, to set-up within your home. Additionally, we’ll haul away and recycle all the cardboard, plastic and Styrofoam packaging. In the event that we’re delivering a new mattress set, we can also haul away and recycle your old mattress and foundation for a fee.
Premium Deliveries run Tuesday through Saturday. We schedule these deliveries for 2 days after purchase provided you’re within our usual delivery area. We’ll confirm your delivery date and address 2 days in advance, but after this point, there is a fee to reschedule. The day before delivery, we’ll give you a 4-hour delivery window based on our most efficient routing metrics.
Feel free to track your delivery truck’s progress from our delivery page by entering your invoice number or phone number. Upon request, we can also call or text when our delivery truck is heading your way. Either yourself or another responsible adult (18 or older) must be there to sign for delivery and direct our delivery crew.
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to make exact appointments for each customer. However, we can accommodate requests for either AM or PM delivery windows for a fee. Also, please keep in mind that assembly of certain items may require an assembly fee.
Speaking of extra services, we also offer next-day Express Delivery and Same-Day Delivery upgrades, as well as add-on services for disposing of or moving your existing furniture. For full details and current pricing information, please visit our delivery page.
Curbside Delivery Service
Our Curbside Delivery Service is WFMO’s middle-of-the-road option. With a qualifying purchase, our Curbside Delivery starts at free if you don’t live too far away.
Many of the same rules from above apply. Deliveries run Tuesday through Saturday, they’re confirmed 2 days beforehand, and you’ll receive a 4-hour delivery window the day before. And just like before, you can track your delivery truck through our system or request a call/text when we’re heading your way. Keep in mind that you or another responsible adult will still need to be at home to accept the delivery.
The big difference between Premium Delivery and Curbside Delivery is what happens when your furniture or mattress arrives.
Our associates will place your furniture or mattress at any exterior, ground-level location of your choosing. This can be a driveway, front porch, patio, in a garage or carport, and yes, even at the curb if you live in a condo or apartment.
Unlike Premium Delivery, you will be responsible for your furniture or mattress once it is unloaded. As a result, you should have a plan to get it inside, assembled, put in place, and to dispose of the packaging. Also, please keep in mind that with Curbside Delivery, our delivery team is not permitted to go up any steps.

Customer Pickup
If you’re looking for the always-free, no-frills option, here it is. If you’ve got the means to transport, assemble and/or install everything, this is the cheapest and simplest way to get your furniture or mattress purchase home. With the rare exception of some shipped items (more on that in a minute), we always give you the option to pick it up yourself.
When buying floor models, closeouts, or scratch-and-dent items, sometimes you can pick these pieces up right at your local Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet store. For most other purchases, you’ll need to swing by our Customer Pickup Office located at our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Acworth. Just a few miles down Hwy 92 from our Woodstock/Acworth store, we are open for customers 9am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday.
When you arrive at Customer Pickup, please allow for 20-25 minutes to pull your order from the warehouse. For the quickest service, we recommend giving us a call at (678) 554-4508, Ext 200 when you’re on the way. That way we can start the process before you even get here.
Regardless of where you pick up, we have team members ready and waiting to help you load your purchase. Just keep in mind that we will help you get it in your vehicle, but the rest is your responsibility.
Nationwide Delivery / Shipping
Lastly, our final option is something we call Nationwide Delivery. And no, you don’t have to live on the opposite side of the country to take advantage of it. This just means that whether through traditional mail services or our own delivery partners, we can ship and/or deliver your furniture or mattresses anywhere in the continental United States.
You’d be surprised what kinds of products we can ship! While not available everywhere or for every product, this option is best suited for those outside of our usual delivery area.
Keep in mind that you’ll also find some pieces in our North Georgia furniture and mattress stores and on our website that we can ship directly to your doorstep. Take our mattresses-in-a-box for instance. Also, through brand partners like homestyles®, we are able to ship any number of different things nationwide — from beds, to desks, to dressers, to dining tables.
Keep in mind that there are many limitations with Nationwide Delivery. However, for eligible purchases, this may be the best option for you. Especially if you live a long distance away or are outside of the Southeast United States. This option has lots of moving parts, so be sure to ask your salesperson or give us a call for full details, restrictions, and pricing.
Which Pickup or Delivery Option is the Right Fit for You?
Let’s recap:
- Premium Delivery is perfect for those who don’t want any hassle whatsoever. You won’t have to touch a thing, because our professional delivery crew can handle it all — from transport, to assembly, to set-up and clean-up. Premium Delivery also has additional optional services. These include mattress haul-away and recycling, removal of old furniture, next-day Express Delivery, and for some qualifying orders — Same-Day Delivery.
- Curbside Delivery is more affordable than Premium Delivery, but you’ve got to do a little lifting of your own. You won’t have to worry about hauling anything yourself, but once it’s at your home, it’s up to you to put it in place, assemble and install. You’ll also need to dispose of the cardboard, plastic and styrofoam packaging. This option is best for those with the ability to lift and assemble furniture but without a transport vehicle.
- Customer Pickup is the most affordable option because it’s always free. Everything from hauling the furniture home to cleaning up afterward is the customer’s responsibility. If you’ve got a big enough SUV, truck, or van and some willing helpers, this may be your best option.
- Nation-wide Delivery/Shipping is very much tailored to each customer. As such, pricing and eligibility is highly dependent on where you live and what products you’ve purchased. However, this could be your best option if you live outside of our usual delivery areas.
