1) 2D Massage vs 3D Massage vs 4D Massage
When you hear someone mention 2D or 3D, what typically comes to mind? If you said, 3D glasses at the movie theater, you’re already on the right track! These abbreviations stand for “2-dimensional” or “3-dimensional”. An example of this in our own industry would be the dimensions or measurements of a piece of furniture. The height of the piece would be one dimension, the length would be a second, and the depth would be a third.
When we use the terms 2D, 3D or 4D regarding massage chairs, we’re specifically talking about the massage roller mechanism. These massage rollers are the “hands” of your new Infinity “masseuse”. According to Infinity, the “S’ in S-Track stands for “sinusoidal” which means “wave”. But don’t worry, that won’t be on the quiz. What Is L-Track?
The L-Track also begins at the neck and runs along the curvature of the spine. However, this roller track also curves beneath the seat (just like the shape of a capital L) and runs along the tailbone to the glutes and top of the hamstrings.
Pros & Cons
Because there is no significant turn angle in the track, an S-Track allows the user to lie flatter, which offers a better back stretch. However, the trade-off here is that the L-Track covers several additional muscle groups. For those wanting a full-length body massage, the L-Track is definitely the way to go.
