Here at Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet, we take our customers’ questions very seriously. As such, if we hear a question a lot, that means it must really need to be addressed! That leads us to one question shoppers ask more than just about anything else – “How often do y’all get new furniture or mattresses in?”
While this seems like a simple question, we have to make sure that we’re answering this question as accurately as possible for every one of our customers, across all 6 of our North Georgia and Atlanta area locations. Read on for all the details.
But First, What Question Are You Really Asking?
To give our shoppers the best answer we can, we need to understand the real question that they are asking. Whenever our customers ask us when we’re getting new furniture or mattresses in, there is generally one of two underlying questions or intentions buried just under the surface.
First, is the shopper that’s asking us about shipments of brand-new furniture arrivals (or mattress arrivals for that matter). Maybe you’re a professional interior designer or an aspiring decorator. Or perhaps you’re simply a homeowner always on the lookout for new styles and inspiration for your home. Either way, this shopper primarily wants to know when we get new collections and fresh furniture pieces so that they can come and see the latest looks in our showroom. After all, how else will you get first dibs on the hottest new designs and in-stock pieces?
By contrast, the second type of customer asking these questions is someone looking for something very specific. For instance, if the mattress or furniture piece you love is unavailable, back-ordered or requires a wait between order and delivery, it’s only natural to ask about how often we receive furniture or mattress shipments. What this shopper is really asking is when that particular piece of furniture, mattress or other product will be available or back in stock.
[Editor’s Note: Please keep in mind that the answer to the latter type of question is often dependent on shipments from our vendors, production timeframes, supply chains, etc. and not something fully within our control. As a result, product-specific questions like this will be answered on a case-by-case basis to the best of our ability. We appreciate your understanding in this matter!]

It is important to note that our scheduled arrivals vary by store location. Regardless of whether you’re scouting out new arrivals or anxiously awaiting restocks, we’ve broken down our schedule by store location.
Deliveries to Our Flagship Woodstock/Acworth Furniture & Mattress Store
If you’re familiar with Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet, you’ve probably seen some of our weekly Restock Wednesday videos where we go over the new arrivals to our Acworth store. The truth is, we actually have new products arriving in Acworth by truck literally every day! Furthermore, our Distribution Center is always receiving merchandise shipments from our nearly 100 different furniture, mattress, rug and décor brands.
Okay, so what is Restock Wednesday then? Well, that’s when our Acworth furniture and mattress store gets its weekly makeover. Restock Wednesday is when we put out our brand new furniture collections, pieces that arrived throughout the week that we didn’t have space for, or other large additions that require us to rearrange the showroom floor.

Keep in mind that Acworth is our largest store and is uniquely able to receive shipments directly from our manufacturers. As you’ll see below, shipments to our other furniture and mattress stores first route through our Distribution Center, about 4 miles down Hwy 92 from our Acworth store.
“Well, what about The Tent truck? When does that come in?” To the uninitiated, The Tent is the area in our Acworth full of closeouts and scratch-and-dent items. We get lots of questions about when we’ll get new closeout merchandise in. Unfortunately, this isn’t on a set schedule, so our truck of closeouts and other goodies simply comes as it’s available. Acworth is the only location with a mattress closeout area aside from our Douglasville mattress outlet. Similar to other closeout and scratch-and-dent merchandise, closeout mattresses are regularly available at Acworth, but arrive on irregular schedules.
Deliveries to Our Dallas/Hiram and Rome Furniture & Mattress Stores
Our Dallas/Hiram and Rome stores are both on the same schedule, so it’s easy to remember. Two days a week, our trucks transfer new furniture and restocked floor merchandise (such as, pillows, mattress protectors, lamps, décor, etc.) from our Distribution Center in Acworth to both our Rome and Dallas/Hiram furniture stores.
These deliveries are typically scheduled for every Monday and Friday. So, to see the latest furniture styles at our Rome or Dallas/Hiram stores, it’s more like “Restock Monday” or “Restock Friday”.
Deliveries to Woodstock Mattress Outlet Locations
Similar to the twice-per-week product deliveries from our Distribution Center to our Dallas/Hiram and Rome stores, our mattress-only stores in Canton, Douglasville and Kennesaw are on a similar schedule. Most weeks, mattresses and stocked goods like pillows, sheets and mattress protectors are delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, keep in mind that unlike our various furniture vendors, most mattress manufacturers may only roll out brand new mattress lines once every year or two.
Lastly, please note that our Douglasville mattress store has many closeouts available. However, much like the closeouts elsewhere, these don’t always arrive on a particular schedule.
