From Our Family to Yours: Three Must-Try Holiday Dessert Recipes!

Nothing says “the holidays” quite like a big ol’ plate of carbs and processed sugar. Now we aren’t saying that you should just shove whatever niche diet you’ve been on and let your fitness goals slide. However, if there were ever a time where you deserved a “cheat day”, it would be during the holiday season! You’ve got to give yourself just a little bit of grace between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. That’s why we’ve collected a few of our favorite quick and easy holiday dessert recipes!

WFMO’s 3 Must-Try Easy Holiday Dessert Recipes

Before we get started, you should know that members of the WFMO family actually submitted the dessert ideas below. Many have been making these treats with their own families for years, and wanted to share them with y’all! Why not let our readers in on these family traditions? Who knows, maybe one of these easy holiday dessert recipes will become your family’s new favorite for years to come!
Here we go! Remember, if you act soon it’s not too late to add these treats to your prep list for Thanksgiving Day!

[1] Easy Graham Cracker Brownies

Since these brownies are made from graham crackers, we like to think that they are healthy-ish. Eh, probably not.

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (6 oz) of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1.  Combine crumbs with condensed milk and chocolate chips in mixing bowl.
  2.  Spread smooth into a greased 8-inch by 8-inch square pan.
  3.  Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  4.  Lastly, cut into squares while warm and remove from pan.

[2] Rocky Road Fudge

Second, this Rocky Road Fudge is perfect for the rich, chocolate connoisseur in your family.

  • 2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups of salted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp of margarine
  • 1 package (10 oz) of mini marshmallows
  1.  In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk and margarine, and stir over medium heat until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
  2.  Then remove from heat, and immediately stir in peanuts and marshmallows.
  3.  Spread into a greased 13-inch by 9-inch pan and refrigerate.
  4.  Once firm, remove and cut into squares.

[3] Famous White Christmas Crunch

Finally, our famous White Christmas Crunch is ideal for everything from lazy Christmas movie marathons on the sofa, to Thanksgiving Day feast, to holiday gift baskets. Unfortunately, we don’t have a photo for this one. But trust us, it’ll taste amazing no matter how it looks!
