So, you’ve just fallen in love and purchased a beautiful new bedroom set, sectional sofa, or comfy new mattress. Regardless of what furniture and mattress you’ve chosen, you’ve got to get them home somehow, right? If you’re still reading, that means you’re at least considering a Curbside Delivery from Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet.

But how does our Curbside Delivery work? What should I expect after I’ve chosen Curbside Delivery? What is the process like? How much does it cost? How long does it take? Are there specific things I should prepare for or be aware of?

To offer you the best experience possible, it’s important that you know what to expect when choosing our Curbside Delivery. Join us as we talk about everything you should know about Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet’s Curbside Delivery Service!

Everything You Should Know About Our Curbside Delivery

Our Curbside Delivery service is easily our most accessible delivery option. Think of it as the happy medium between our Customer Pickup and Premium Delivery services. Our Curbside Delivery service starts at $59.99. However, we include it for free with a minimum purchase of $599 provided you don’t live too far away.

Please remember that while it’s our most affordable delivery option, you’ll need to do a little lifting of your own once your merchandise arrives. Ultimately, it is the customer’s responsibility to bring their order inside the home, assemble and install it, and dispose of the cardboard, plastic and styrofoam packaging. As a result, this option is best for those who may not have an ideal transport vehicle, but who are otherwise able to lift and assemble furniture.

The Curbside Delivery Process

So, you’ve selected your items and chosen Curbside Delivery at checkout. What’s next?

Regardless of which delivery method you’ve chosen, our routes run every Tuesday through Saturday. With Curbside Delivery, a member of our team will confirm your delivery 2 days beforehand. The day before your scheduled delivery, our team will contact you to give you a 4-hour window. While we do our absolute best to arrive on-time, delivery times can be subject to change based on factors such as traffic or inclement weather. If for any reason you need to make changes to your order, including changing the delivery date, or adding or removing items or warranty protection, please contact your salesperson by no later than 6pm, 2 days prior to your scheduled delivery. Deliveries rescheduled beyond this point are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee.

Please keep in mind that you or another responsible adult (18 years or older) will need to be home during this timeframe to accept delivery. Upon request, our delivery crew can give you a call or text when leaving their previous stop to let you know they’re on their way. Additionally, you can track your delivery truck through our routing system.

When our delivery crew arrives, they will place your items, in the original manufacturer packaging, at an exterior, ground-level location of your choosing. Common requests include just inside the garage or carport, in the driveway of your house, apartment, or condo, or on the porch. However, please note that our Curbside Delivery team cannot go up any steps.

Once Curbside Delivery is complete, you will be responsible for your new furniture or mattress. As a result, you should have a plan to get it inside, assembled, and into place. 

Policies & Limitations

As we stated above, your new furniture or mattress purchase should arrive in the original packaging from the manufacturer. Should you discover any damage or defects while unboxing/unpacking, you must contact customer service at (678) 554-4500 within 3 days of delivery. Since no two issues are exactly alike, we handle damaged and defective merchandise on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, there are a few limitations to our Curbside Delivery service. Orders with over 10 pieces of furniture must either be delivered via our Premium Delivery or picked up at our Distribution Center. Additionally, we cannot offer Curbside Delivery for as-is, scratch-and-dent, floor sample, or clearance merchandise.

Lastly, with our Curbside Delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer assistance with unpacking, unwrapping, assembly, moving furniture, haul-away of old furniture or mattresses, or other additional services. For these optional services, we recommend our Premium Delivery service.
