That’s precisely why we began publishing our annual lists of best sellers in each product category.
In order to improve the shopping experience for customers like you, and to help with the decision-making process, we’ve put together the list below of 2024’s most popular upholstered seating. Keep in mind that this is based on our own internal sales data from last year. While this list is technically more of a recap than a projection of trends to come, every upholstered collection or living room set below was a big hit with our customers last year and will likely remain so throughout 2025.
Our Top 10 list of best selling upholstery collections for 2024 includes a range of styles, colors, price ranges and upholstery materials. However, one thing this list won’t have is reclining features. You’ll need to check out our 2024 list of best selling reclining furniture for those. Top 5 Fabric Upholstered Seating for 2024
For this past year, we’ve divided our Top 10 upholstered seating list into two Top 5 lists – one for leather upholstery and one for fabric upholstery. We’ve also included a couple living room seating collections that were honorable mentions and notable runner-ups in both of these categories. Let’s begin our countdown with our best fabric upholstery for 2024.
Fabric Upholstery Runner-Up | England Furniture Anderson Casual Quartz Living Room (3-Piece & 4-Piece Sectionals)
For fans of muted colors and transitional styling, the delightful England Furniture Anderson Casual Quartz Living Room with cool, neutral Casual Quartz performance fabric from Revolution Fabrics is a customer favorite that we keep in stock and available. Considering that England Furniture is one of the biggest players in the custom upholstery business, keep in mind that pieces in the Anderson Collection can be custom ordered in a ton of different upholstery fabrics too! Additionally, while the Anderson Casual Quartz 3 piece sectional and 4 piece sectional are in stock and on display in our stores, the matching chair, ottoman, sofa, and loveseat can all be special ordered if your living space demands more than just a sectional.
#5 | England Furniture Tyler Romero Modular Sectional
At #5 on our fabric upholstery countdown, we’ve got yet another popular piece from England Furniture – the England Furniture Tyler Romero Modular Sectional. It’s no great mystery why this piece is so popular with our shoppers in 2024. First, the neutral colors go with nearly any decor. Second, it features a stain-resistant and easy-to-clean Revolution performance fabric on the surface, perfect for anyone, including those with little ones and furry friends at home. Lastly, this piece also includes England’s proprietary Coil Cushion and Frame Coil technologies under the surface to provide a more supportive, more durable, and firmer seat cushion.

If you’re looking for a fashion-forward, fresh designer look, #4 on our list may just be perfect for you. Returning from #7 on our 2023 best selling upholstery list, Fusion Furniture’s 7004 Durango Pewter sectional features low seat backs, deep seats, loose cushions, and is currently available in a 4 piece and 5 piece configuration. However, since Fusion Furniture’s 7004 frame is modular, there are a number of different layouts to choose from if placing a special order. You can even put a left-arm-facing chair and right-arm-facing chair together to make a loveseat, or add an armless chair between them to build a 3-seat sofa.

Unlike the sectionals above, the Abinger Collection is a full living room upholstery collection complete with sofas, loveseats, sofa chaise sectionals, accent chairs, two different ottomans, sleeper sofas and sleeper sectionals. With all these options available, this massive upholstery collection has something for almost everyone at a value price. Did we mention that it’s available in both an off-white Creme chenille and a Smoke Gray chenille fabric?
#2 | Craftmaster Furniture Chaplin F9 Sectional
In case you haven’t noticed yet, neutral colors and L-sectionals were still a huge trend with our shoppers in 2024! But don’t worry about the light-colored upholstery, this next sectional has a durable, easy-to-clean performance fabric to help deal with life’s little mishaps.
Of the neutral-colored transitional sectionals on our showroom floor, none were as popular as Craftmaster Furniture’s 4-piece Chaplin F9 Sectional. With an LAF loveseat, RAF loveseat, corner wedge, and armless chair, this sectional will seat at least 6 folks with ease. Additionally, the armless chair can be placed on either end of the corner wedge, allowing you to decide which side you’d like for the longer and shorter sides of the sofa.

Once we tallied everything up, it became clear that our 2024 best seller for fabric upholstery wasn’t an individual sofa or sectional, or even an upholstery collection. Rather, it was a whole upholstery program. Are you familiar with Kincaid Furniture and their custom upholstery? If not, here’s the short version.

Now, let’s have a look at our best selling upholstered leather seating for 2024, counting down from 2024’s runner-up.
