Maybe that’s why one of the most common FAQs we get from shoppers is about finding good places to eat nearby. Well, whether you’re shopping at our Dallas/Hiram furniture and mattress showroom, picking up an order, or just exploring the area, this Local Flavor guide is here to help you discover some of the best local restaurants right here in the Hiram area.
Our Favorite Local Restaurants in Hiram
Hiram is one of those places where you can still find a wide variety of cuisines and locally-owned restaurants all within a short drive. It’s also where many of our customers stop in on their way to (or from) our showroom Dallas/Hiram showroom. And while it’s easy to miss some of the best spots if you don’t know where to look – that’s where we come in!
From hearty breakfasts, to popular local lunch spots, to dinner with the whole family, these restaurants represent what our team loves about the area – flavor and a whole lot of heart. So if you’re wondering where to eat in Hiram, here are a few ideas in alphabetical order to get you started.
278 South
Located right off the main drag in Hiram, 278 South is the kind of local bar and grill you stumble upon and immediately feel welcome. This laid‑back neighborhood eatery serves up a menu of classic comfort food and bar food, ranging from steaks, burgers and philly cheesesteaks, to chicken sandwiches, wings, and daily lunch specials showcasing Southern flavors with a creative twist. The atmosphere makes it a great spot for both lunch, dinner with friends, or a casual date night.
But it’s not just the food that keeps folks coming back: the portion sizes are generous, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere feels relaxed yet lively. Especially during the weekends, you'll catch locals enjoying live music while sipping on cold beers or margaritas making it a local Hiram favorite.
Baldino’s Giant Jersey Subs
If you’ve got a big appetite and a craving for subs stacked high with freshly sliced meat and cheese and made to order on freshly baked sub rolls, Baldino’s delivers in a big way. This unassuming sub shop serves up gigantic sandwiches packed with hearty meats, cheeses and fresh veggies — perfect for fueling up before or after a showroom visit. And they slice and shave their meats and cheeses right there for you as they're making your sandwich. We recommend the Italian Battalion, a huge Italian cold cut (pressed ham, boiled ham, capicola, hard salami, pepperoni and provalone) made with extra meat and cheese and served with lettuce, onion, tomatoes, vinegar and oil and seasoning.
Beyond the stellar subs, Baldino’s offers a friendly neighborhood atmosphere that keeps customers coming back week after week, month after month, year after year. Staff are quick with recommendations, and the casual setup makes it easy to grab a sandwich to go or hang out there while everyone digs in. If you’re on the hunt for a satisfying, easy meal that delivers big flavor and some of the best subs in North Georgia, you can’t go wrong with Baldino's. There are 20+ locations in this Georgia sub chain, but you'll only find two in the Metro Atlanta area, one in Hiram and another in Doraville.

For diners with a more adventurous palate, we love that Fuji Sushi has a whole section of their menu dedicated to unique sushi rolls created by (and named for) their regular customers.
The vibe’s casual but clean, making it a reliable stop for sushi takeout or a simple dine-in night. And if sushi isn’t the only thing on your mind, they’ll hook you up with some classic teriyaki dishes and sides. Fuji Sushi is where consistency meets quality, and we’re here for both.

They've also got other seafood and non-seafood options, so no one leaves hungry.
The atmosphere is casual, with communal tables and bibs on standby. It’s the perfect spot to let your hands do the talking — especially if you’re craving a fun, hands-on seafood feast with no fuss and all the flavor. A regional chain with restaurants across the Southeast, there are about 20 locations across Metro Atlanta including another one near to our Douglasville mattress store.

Piled-high on soft rolls with sautéed onions and melted cheese, these sandwiches are the real deal. Order the classic beef or chicken philly or explore loaded options like the Broad Street or Pizza cheesesteak for an authentic and filling Philly experience.
